Ingredients

01 3/4 cup dry-roasted salted peanuts.
02 11 oz butterscotch chips.
03 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter.
04 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt.
05 12 oz fried chow mein noodles.

Instructions

Step 01

Prepare two baking sheets by lining with wax paper or parchment paper.

Step 02

Take peanuts and chop them coarsely to desired size.

Step 03

Combine butterscotch chips, peanut butter, and salt in large microwave-safe bowl.

Step 04

Microwave mixture for 2 minutes total, stopping to stir halfway through.

Step 05

Continue heating in 20-second intervals if needed until smooth.

Step 06

Stir in chopped peanuts and chow mein noodles until well coated.

Step 07

Drop mixture by 2 heaping tablespoons onto prepared sheets.

Step 08

Allow haystacks to set 40 minutes at room temperature.
