15-Minute Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

This 15-minute Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken is perfect for an easy weekday dinner. Each bite is juicy, tender, and full of flavor.
Ingredients
This recipe uses only a few simple ingredients. I always recommend using freshly grated parmesan cheese, but you can also use store-bought pre-grated parmesan cheese. I wouldn’t recommend the type of parmesan cheese that is more like a powder.
Also, I always use an avocado oil spray because it will save you a few hundred calories and it spreads more evenly over the chicken.
For the garlic, I prefer the flavor of fresh minced garlic, but you can also use pre-minced garlic from the grocery store.
Preparing the Chicken
To get my chicken to cook so quickly, I cut it in half. There is no need to pound the chicken. Slicing it in half will allow it to cook faster and I find that a full chicken breast is too much.

Serving Suggestions
I love enjoying this baked garlic parmesan chicken with my Asparagus & Pea Pasta. I can make this pasta while my chicken is baking and have a full dinner served in only 15 minutes.
If you are eating low-carb, this dish also goes well with simple seared vegetables. You could even throw some asparagus or broccolini on the pan for a complete dinner.
Instructions
First, pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees. While your oven is preheating, mix your salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl to make a spice blend, shred your parmesan cheese, and mince your garlic.
Take out a large baking dish or pan and spray with avocado oil. Then generously sprinkle the seasoning on both sides of your chicken and place it on the baking pan.

Sprinkle the minced garlic over each slice of chicken, then sprinkle on the parmesan, and finish it off by sprinkling some fresh chopped parsley. Finally, give a light spray of avocado oil on the top of your chicken.
Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes and promptly remove from your oven. Serve with your favorite sides and garnish with another light sprinkle of parsley.
