This copycat Taco Bell nacho fries is easy to make and enjoy whenever you’re craving some. Nothing is better than crispy fries dipped in cheese.

What are Taco Bell Nacho Fries?

If you ever tried nacho fries at taco bell, you know how good they are. The fries have a perfect blend of seasoning while being crispy, each bite is dipped into decadent Taco Bell nacho cheese sauce.

Ingredients

  • Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Frozen Fast Food Frozen French Fries
  • Vegetable Oil for Frying

FOR THE SEASONING MIXTURE:

  • Pprik
  • Salt
  • Chili Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper (This is optional but adds a little heat.)

FOR THE CHEESE SAUCE:

  • American Cheese
  • Milk
  • Liquid from the Jar of Jalapeño Slices

How to make Taco Bell Nacho Fries:

  • Combine the seasoning for the fries – In a small bowl stir together your seasoning mixture.
  • Heat the oil – Fill a saucepan with the oil at least 3 inches deep in the pan and heat the oil to 350°F (180°C).
  • Add the fries to the pan – Cook the fries in the hot oil over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 mins or until they are crispy. Then move the fries to a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the extra oil.
  • Allow to cool. let the fries slightly cool, and make the cheese sauce.

How to make nacho cheese sauce:

  • Get out a microwave-safe bowl – Unwrap the cheese and tear the slices into smaller pieces. In your microwave-safe bowl place your cheese and the other cheese sauces ingredients.
