Recipe 3: Fruit and Nut Energy Balls
Overview: These energy balls are a no-bake snack loaded with natural sweetness from dates and crunch from nuts. They’re perfect for satisfying sweet cravings while staying on track with the Daniel Fast.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup medjool dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup raw almonds
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
- In a food processor, pulse the dates, almonds, and cashews until finely chopped.
- Add the shredded coconut, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Process until the mixture starts to stick together.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Place the energy balls in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
